Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra Covid Recovery Campaign
Like many small-budget symphony orchestras, the pandemic affected ticket sales nationwide and many musicians who play in multiple orchestras and whose incomes were vastly reduced or eliminated. The Orchestra’s season subscriptions are at an all-time low and down over $20,000 last season as well as significantly reduced net income from our Holiday Housewalk fundraiser the past two years due to them being virtual events. Your Covid Recovery Campaign donation provides the Orchestra with the vital support it needs to continue its mission of creating magical and memorable experiences through the power of symphonic music.
For 86 years, the orchestra has been financially supported by the people living and working in our community who believe in what The Power of Music can do. The Orchestra relies on the generosity of many to support our operations. Together, they have helped us share the music and be an integral part of the arts community in Saginaw.
Our 3-year Covid Recovery Plan looks to raise new revenue and rebuild ticket sales to get the Orchestra moving in a positive direction for many years to come.
