Art & Garden Festival

10:30 AM & 1:30 PM

Join the SBSO for two pop-up concerts at the Saginaw Arts and Garden Festival! Organized by the Saginaw Arts and Enrichment Commission, the summer art fair and garden extravaganza draws hundreds of art and garden aficionados from around the state to the Lucille Andersen Memorial Garden in early June during the first blooming of the roses. The day’s festivities include an art fair, garden vendors, gardening demonstrations, silent auction, picnic lunch and their famous homemade strawberry shortcake!

The Castle Museum is hosting its monthly event, Museum Mingle, with a pop-up performance from the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra. Tour the museum and mix and mingle, all while enjoying the wonderful acoustics and sounds of the SBSO!

With over two decades of international credits as a conductor and composer, Fouad Fakhouri is committed to actively engaging audiences through powerful artistic experiences. Known for his “musical accuracy” and “emotional intensity,” his performances have been celebrated for their broad, dynamic and powerful interpretations, which go beyond the score to capture both the essence and spirit of music.
